Founders

Krysse Mello

With almost 20 years of experience, Krysse Mello is a producer and co-founder of Barry Company. Her career in advertising began in Rio de Janeiro, but solidified in São Paulo.

Over the years, he has accumulated a long list of national and international awards, including Cannes Lions, Professionals of the Year, El Ojo, among others.

Today, cinema and music are among Krysse Mello's productions and career. She was a co-producer of the films “Faroeste Caboclo” and “Eduardo e Mônica”, feature films by René Sampaio.

For TV, it is the producer of the series “Impuros”, which is scheduled to launch its 5th season in the second half of 2024 on the Disney+ platform. It is also finishing the series “Amor da Sua Vida”, starring Bruna Marquezine, which will be released by Disney+ also in the second half of this year.

The film “Uma Família Feliz” is currently showing in cinemas, written by Raphael Montes and directed by Zé Eduardo Belmonte.

Marcia Branco

With 27 years of experience in the market, Marcia Branco started out as an RTV Producer. In her 27-year career, she has worked for JWT (now Wunderman Thompson), Publicis, W/McCann and DM9.

She then worked as Executive Producer at Corazón Filmes and founded PANCs in 2020.

Mariana Youssef

With over 15 years of directing experience, he has worked on campaigns for major brands such as Ford, Coca-Cola, Samsung and Rolling Stone Magazine, winning several awards, including a Silver Lion Cannes award.

An important name in Brazilian advertising, she is the Brazilian ambassador of the Free the Work project, a respected international initiative for the inclusion of underrepresented talents in the audiovisual market and which aims to change the unequal scenario in the industry.

She was a founding partner of Barry Company and ATR, her former entertainment production company. With a solid career in advertising, Mariana began her journey in the fiction market with the medium-length film “B-Flat”, filmed in India, and participated in festivals such as those in Brasília, Cairo and Oaxaca, among others.

He studied film at the International Film Academy, learned acting for directors at the Judith Weston Studio in Los Angeles, and screenwriting techniques with Guillermo Arriaga in Chile.

In 2021, he directed three episodes of the series “Lov3” for Prime Video and was the general director of the series “As Seguidoras” for Paramount+. In 2022, he filmed “B.A.: The Future Is Dead” for Max, where, in addition to creating the series, he is responsible for directing the first episode. In 2023, he released two episodes of the series “Desejos Inc.” for Star+.

In 2024, Mariana will direct the feature film “Nico”, which she is already working on, and the authorial feature film “Viúvos”. In addition, in 2023 Mariana became a member of the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (@iemmys).

Morena Koti

Morena Koti worked as executive manager for major Brazilian production companies such as O2 Filmes, Barry Company and Mar Filmes.

Among his main projects are the executive production of the development of the series “B.A The Future is Dead” for Max and the production of the feature film “Raquel 1:1”, selected for important festivals such as SXSW, Competitive Exhibition of the Guadalajara International Film Festival, São Paulo International Film Festival, among others.
